Mission Statement
Anderson University Apologetics (AUApol) is an official university club that seeks to equip believers with the essential tools--both intellectual and emotional--to defend their belief in Jesus Christ. The club was born out of a desire of several students to learn more about their faith and how to rebut many of the common objections to it. Apologetics is a direct result of 1 Peter 3:15-16 and Jude 1:3 and consequently AUApol is founded upon those two passages of Scripture.
1 Peter 3:15-16,"15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander."
Jude 1:3,"Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people."
